Ines' 10 best compilations from Toronto Fashion Week: long leather gloves

This past season saw us shying away from baggy, oversized items, but Pink Tartan ruled the runway in this delightful suit by bringing this look back to the fashion forefront.

Imagine a pair of my fingerless opera gloves stretching below the 3/4-length sleeves of this jacket... the combination of texture, leather, and shine make this look really sparkle. Share/Bookmark

Ines' 10 best compilations from Toronto Fashion Week: nearly nude

The leather and lace combination is a very popular look this season, and this beautiful dress is certainly no disappointment. An applique-adorned, skater-style dress is a re-invention of an existing style, but Toronto-based label Narces specializes in evening wear, and so has taken this style and created a magnificent piece.

Almost as though the flowers are floating... and with a pair of colorful my happy knot gloves, the nude color of this dress is brought forth.Share/Bookmark

Ines' 10 best compilations from Toronto Fashion Week: we love our leather!

Without fail, the creative genius behind Canadian label Mackage, Eran Elfassy and Elisha Dahan, always manage to include a generous amount of leather in their fashions. And this year was no exception... the collection is perfect for the fall/ winter season, with delicious blue-green plaid accented by smooth, soft, lambskin leather.

A perfect companion for my man cashmere gloves... warm for winter, elegant always.Share/Bookmark

Ines' 10 best compilations from Toronto Fashion Week: leather & lace

The combination of leather and lace is a timeless tradition in fashion. Toronto Fashion Week certainly did not disappoint with this trend, as one of the top looks from the runway featured a delicate lace suitable for pairing with Ines Gloves...

Canadian design team Jennifer Wells and John Muscat have created LINE Knitwear, a revolutionary collection of knit clothing that celebrates feminine elegance and recognizes the need for comfort and practicality.

In the above ensemble, the hint of fuzziness of the sweater perfectly complements the delicate lace of the mini-skirt. Overall, the white color enhances the delicate nature of this outfit, and desperately begs for a pair of my petite cashmere lined gloves.

These gloves are longer in length, and can be worn under a sweater or with 3/4-length sleeves. They are made to fit small-boned hands, and match the delicacy and feminine elegance of LINE Knitwear's best runway look.Share/Bookmark

Ines' 10 best compilations from Toronto Fashion Week: elegant silhouette

This unique look was taken from the collection of a new Canadian designer. Joseph Helmer had models teeming with glitter, sparkles, and tulle. The above picture features a beautiful combination of a full lace skirt with a more tailored top, for a silhouette right from the runways of 1950s fashion.

The silver embroidery in the Helmer top would be perfectly complemented by a pair of my fashion scoop half gloves. These ultra-chic gloves are available in a variety of colors, so you can match your ensemble or provide a bright splash of color to an otherwise monochromatic color scheme. Either way, the choice is yours... only Ines.Share/Bookmark

Toronto Fashion Week 2014 was a spectacular success, and represented a showcase of Canadian designer talent. This year, all things uniquely Canadian were featured: quilted fabrics, rich shades, fur, and leather.

Though all designers are to be commended for their creativity, a few looks stood out as being best paired with a pair of Ines Gloves... stay tuned!

It's a combination of edgy chic and feminine elegance from the creative design team of Beaufille. Chloe and Parris Gordon use the soft texture of this rust fabric to offset its rocker chic silhouette.

Ines' 5 days of fashion at Toronto Fashion Week: Day 5

As the curtain draws to a close at Toronto Fashion Week 2014, the runways are graced one final time by designers like Matthew Gallaugher and Stephan Caras. Beautiful fabrics, appealing patterns, and timeless silhouettes were the story of the day...

~ What looks better with a scooped neckline than a pair of my fashion scoop half gloves? Try them in a beautifully vibrant color to complement the darker shade of this elegant dress.

~ Neutral tones will be big for fall 2014, but why not liven things up with an elegant pair of my short every day glace gloves? This dress has a very elegant silhouette, complemented perfectly by these classic gloves...

~ There is nothing wrong with the little black dress, but fall 2014 is about color as well. The slender neckline and short sleeves of this dress would be perfectly matched to a petite pair of my petite cashmere lined gloves for a longer accessory, or my pearl shorty gloves for an elegant, timeless look that has vintage appeal.

Toronto Fashion Week 2014 brought some beautiful new and innovative ideas to the Canadian runways. I hope you enjoyed what you saw, and remember that for every design, there is an Ines Glove perfectly matched to it!

Ines' 5 days of fashion at Toronto Fashion Week: Day Four

Day four at Toronto Fashion Week was all about fur and leather... oh yes!

Canadian design houses Rudsak and Pink Tartan went all out to wrap their models in fur-laced hoods and hats for fall 2014. Perfect for hiding a disastrous do, or keeping warm on a cool day!

And then there was leather... the equestrian look has returned to the runways of fall 2014, but with a new accessory! My fashion scoop half gloves were a delightful part of the ensemble, and complemented a black felt top hat for an added element of dressage.

And leather was truly the material of choice for the day, as we saw fur hoods, jackets, and stoles. This ensemble, put together by Rudsak, was a perfect blend of warm, luxurious fur with my sensual oh-la-la leg gloves for a fall outfit that is sure to please!Share/Bookmark

Ines' 5 days of fashion at Toronto Fashion Week: Day Three

Day three of Toronto Fashion Week continued to show us some of the beautiful fashion trends that we can expect for fall 2014. Pink Tartan, Mackage, and other Canadian designers took centre stage in a flourish of fur, fabric, and of course... leather!

Design label Joe Fresh showed us some delightful photographic patterns to convey moods, emotions, and fashion. Woody landscapes, moons, and furry woodland creatures evoked a sense of mystique and adventure, while city skylines and vintage images created a unique elegance.

Mackage stole the runway with my fashion scoop half gloves and the latest fall trend... the crop top! Worried about baring your midriff as the weather cools?? Not to worry...  crop tops will soon be available in heavier knit fabrics and turtlenecks.

As we prepare for day four at Toronto Fashion Week, let's think more leather, fur, and fashion fun!!!Share/Bookmark
