Ines' 5 days of fashion at Toronto Fashion Week: Day Two

Day Two of Toronto Fashion Week revealed boho chic, minimalism, the classics, and a splash of color...

Boho chic was back on the Canadian runways as part of designer Laura Siegel's collection of beautifully draped and easy-to-wear silhouetted pieces. To channel the bohemian inside you, pair a colorful pair of my where are my fingers gloves with a neutral colors and natural fabrics (silk, linen, cotton, etc).

The days of complication in fashion are officially over. Canadian designers are introducing a move to a simpler time, with classic, clean looks that look stunning and maintain an air of timeless elegance. My short every day glace gloves reflect this simplicity in elegance, when less is definitely more.

And even though a neutral color palette ruled day two of Toronto Fashion Week, every now and then a little splash of color happened by. Use Ines Gloves to add color to a neutral ensemble wth a wide variety of brilliant colors available.Share/Bookmark

Ines' 5 days of fashion at Toronto Fashion Week: Day One

Toronto's Fall Fashion Week kicked off this past Monday, 17 March, 2014, and already has played witness to many beautiful new trends for next autumn. This marks the start of my 5-day blog series that will feature top spots from Toronto Fashion Week and the complementary Ines Gloves we love...

Design label Line Knitwear showed a love of all things pink on the runway, using thick, textured fabrics in soft, sultry shades of cuddly pink. Perfect with a pair of my short every day glace gloves in my cloud white to match the softness of pink.

Toronto-based designer Sid Neigum introduced a love of layering to the runway, with loose, draping fabric and sumptuous autumn colors. The snappy design of my fashion scoop half gloves would complement the flowy nature of these fabrics. Use fun colors to add some delight to your autumn ensemble!

All in all, a successful first day at Toronto Fashion Week! Stay tuned for more news, trends, and designed from your favorite Canadian designers!Share/Bookmark

Welcome the colors of spring!

Spring is the time when we can finally let go of our winter leather gloves in black and gray, and indulge in the colorful palette of leather glove trends for spring 2014.

Pastels, primary colors, gold, and silver leather gloves will soon be gracing the Canadian fashion runways as a complement to cropped jackets and wide-legged pants.

For a spring color palatte like no other, indulge in a pair of my fashion scoop half gloves, available in silver, gold, and the beautiful pastels of spring.

The best part about these colors and these unique gloves is that they transition perfectly from day to evening wear, regardless of whether you wear them to work, for a night on the town, or while relaxing on the weekend.

Choose your fashion scoop half gloves wisely... choose often... and fill your closet with all the new colors of spring in Canada.Share/Bookmark

Ginnifer Goodwin makes a Canadian connection in driving gloves

Actress Ginnifer Goodwin and her fiance were recently spotted at the airport in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, as they prepared to begin filming the second season of their hit series Once Upon a Time.

Ginnifer is certainly no stranger to leather gloves! She demonstrates a return to the feminine elegance of old, when cigarette smoking was done sensually with a cigarette holder. She refuses to sully her hands, and wears my punched fashion leather driving gloves to protect her hands and keep them looking beautiful.

Ginnifer becomes a sensual leather vixen with my sensual silk lined almost elbow high gloves. Jewellery can easily be added to a pair of leather gloves to accessorize and ultimately enhance your elegance.

With Ines Gloves, the possibilities are limitless...

"Ines"spotting: leather gloves at the Junos?

The Canadian version of the Grammys, the Juno Awards, are set to take place from 24 - 30 March, 2014, in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba. This event is televised each year, and celebrates the best and brightest that Canadian music has to offer.

I will be watching and hoping to see leather gloves on the red carpet this year!

It was not that long ago that Victora Secret model Chanel Iman appeared on the Juno red carpet wearing my sensual past elbow gloves in my desert beige with a delightful leather skirt.

Will this leather glove trend continue through this awards season? Stay tuned to find out...Share/Bookmark

Ines Gloves in Canada: out for the afternoon...

Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day in Ontario... still cool, but not as much as it was. My husband and I decided to head to a local shopping centre to stretch our legs and take advantage of some sales. For us, this means breaking out the Ines Gloves!

My husband had recently purchased a pair of my man black driving gloves and could not wait to try them out! These driving gloves are made of the softest deerskin leather, and are perforated along the fingers to keep your hands cool and dry.

Another unique feature of my man black driving gloves is that they are unlined and very light for maximum grip of the steering wheel and gear shift. Most importantly, they look oh-so-elegant!

Just to let you know, my husband loved his driving gloves so much, that he also purchased a pair in black! Not a tough decision to make for quality and style... only at Ines.Share/Bookmark

Maison Morgan-Zara & Ines Gloves... an update

My Friends of Elegance Canada post from 9 February, 2014, introduced you to Maison Morgan-Zara, a Canadian-born industrial engineer currently living in Amsterdam. She has created an amazing world of fashion that helps everyday people to access clothes, accessories, and style tips, all with an individualized approach.

Amsterdam fashion model Irena Pantelic enjoyed her most recent photo session with Maison Morgan-Zara and, of course, Ines Gloves! Feel free to browse the Ines Gloves' facebook page to see how she truly felt about wearing Ines!

This ensemble, selected by Maison Morgan-Zara, gives a softened rocker chic look that is delightfully complemented by my fingerless half scoop leather gloves. A glam look with an elegant glove...

When elegance meets class... a leather-accented cocktail dress can remain formal, yet fun with a pair of my fashion fingerless driving gloves.

What an elegant look of comfort! My fashion driving gloves are a unique addition to a comfortable look of leggings and colorful sweater.

Leather is no joke!

In an attempt to celebrate April Fool's Day this past year, popular activewear company Lululemon decided to bring forth a new collection... of leather activewear! Of course, leather is no joke, but I did enjoy some of the comments that were made during the advertisement...

Though some may disagree, I feel that wearing leather is perhaps one of the best ways to pay homage to the animals that provided the clothing. Each leather piece is unique not only because of its design, but because of the minor imperfections that remain in the leather that occurred when the animal was still alive.

This may have been a prank, but if you want to really feel leather against your legs, try a pair of my sensual oh-la-la leggloves!

These special gloves are designed to move with you and truly feel like a second skin. Though I wouldn't recommend doing yoga in them, I would strongly recommend these leggloves as a unique fashion piece!Share/Bookmark
