Summer leather weather

On this beautifully sunny, 25-degree day, I truly believe that summer is not yet at an end. That said, please allow me to help you incorporate leather into your summer ensemble!

Two tips for summer leather weather


1. Wear the smallest dose of leather - leather is so sexy, but please keep in mind that you can only tolerate so much in the heat of summer. If you're spending the day in air conditioning, a leather blazer may not be so bad, but for a walk on the beach... not so much. Including simple leather accents as part of your ensemble goes a long way... leather headbands, shorts, perforated driving gloves, and shorter leather skirts are some simple suggestions to beat the heat while still indulging in leather.   

2. Keep seasonal practicality in mind - I have a bad habit of buying delightful leather pants and jackets in the summer (when they're on sale), and it kills me to have to wait until cooler weather to wear them!
