And saving the best for last...

Personally, I cannot be more excited about my favourite fashion trend this spring in Canada... leather!!! Perhaps the most versatile material ever discovered, leather is practical, yet fashionable and oh-so-much fun.

This spring, Canadian designers are using leather in more subtle ways. Though jackets and pants will ensure forever, we are seeing more leather gloves a la Ines...

Two spring trends come together in a single ensemble, with florals and my sensual shoulder high gloves combining forces to create a beautiful spring outfit. So very feminine and elegant...

Though black is timeless, don't be timid when it comes to using colour this spring. My short every day glace gloves are available in so many happy colours, that it should be easy to enhance your elegance and chose a colour to match your personality.

Canada goes equestrian this spring

The embossed Ralph Lauren polo shirts were very much in vogue throughout the 90s, and have once again graced Canadian store shelves.

Only now, they are better than ever and paired with the very chic my fashion driving glove for an overall equestrian look that is both feminine and sporty. This spring, be adventurous in Canadian fashion by combining a polo shirt with dress pants or a maxi skirt...

Or simply remain traditional with a pair of jeans or coloured chinos to complement the brilliant colour of your favourite polo shirt. Through it all, my fashion driving gloves are yours for the season, adding a splash of colour to hands where there was none...Share/Bookmark

Spring trends for the Canadian man

Denim was a popular fabric several years ago, and has now been rejuvenated in a very modern, yet classic way, particularly for the Canadian man.

Gone are the days of the traditional suit and tie. Now, grab some faded denim pants and patterned blazer, throw in my man peccary leather gloves, and you have the perfect ensemble for a spring afternoon!

A mix of natural materials complement perfectly to create a rugged, yet refined look. My man special glace gloves quite literally complement anything, and are the Ines Glove most suited to a warm spring afternoon in Canada.

Mix and match denim and leather this spring, as it becomes our go-to fabric of the season!Share/Bookmark

Walking comfortably in Canada with Ines Gloves

Oh, the dreaded day is here! Sadly, this is one Canadian fashion trend that I simply cannot be a part of... ballet flats and sneakers.

My feet enjoy comfort as much as the next person, but this Canadian girl is a firm believer in the adage fashion over function. My feet may kill me, but as long as the heels look great, I am happy.

Nonetheless, it is my duty as a fashion blogger to report that this spring, Canadians are leaving their heels at home and opting for more comfortable, colourful ballet flats and running shoes. I have to admit that my short every day glace gloves and matching flats do look quite spring-like and fun.

Could this be the season when this Canadian changes her mind and finds comfort for her feet??? Not a chance... :)

This season, Ines Gloves has refreshed the "green grass" colour, and have designed many glove styles in this new, happy and colourful print. This season in Canada is all about matching pastels, especially greens and light pinks, together, rather than choosing shades of the same hue.

Enjoy spring in Canada this season, because it is finally here!Share/Bookmark

Gingham is the new black

This spring in Canada is all about the warm hues of gingham... sunny orange, radiant red, beautiful blue. Gingham dresses were in style at the turn of the century, only now the trend is for everyone.

Watch the streets of Canada come alive with the spark of gingham and glace gloves from Ines!

Moving into spring, my man glace gloves are perhaps more suited to evening attire as the temperature cools down. The days of a plain white dress shirt are over... spice your suit up with a freshly-pressed gingham shirt.

This spring, take some time to enjoy the freshness of a gingham shirt and my man special glace gloves, made especially for our Canadian men of leather.Share/Bookmark

Spring in Canada... it's "sheer" bliss!

The allure of "barely there" hits home this spring on the fashion runways in Canada, with sheer chiffon stealing the spotlight. This spring, Canadians will be using sheer fabrics as an accent, and not as a replacement for clothing.

Singer Kylie Minogue steps out with a missing my sensual indulging up-shoulder glove and a barely-there hint of sheer with garter-style stockings. Alluring, and very elegant!

The beauty of sheer is that it can be worn with practically anything, without the heaviness of typical fabrics. It adds a layer of femininity and a hint of mystery...

... but the combination of leather AND sheer simply steals the show! Here, my sensual shoulder high gloves cover the arms, while sheer fabric lightly drapes the upper body and legs. Showing something, yet revealing nothing all in the same breath...Share/Bookmark

Spring in Canada... show a little skin

This spring marks the return of a trend I had thought was gone forever. Singer Miley Cyrus brought the crop top back into popular culture in 2013, and it seems as though it is here to stay. However, crop tops are now much more elegant, especially when seen on Canadian streets with Ines Gloves.

Here, my fashion scoop half gloves bring a formerly 80s-inspired look into a more elegant, modern ensemble. Even celebrities like Taylor Swift are incorporating the crop top into their red carpet outfits!

The elegant crop top is, by far, my favourite tone of this returned trend. For those of you looking for an edgier, rocker chic look for the Canadian spring...

... check your local vintage shops, as I'm certain you can find some of those high-waisted jeans and a ruffled crop to head out for the afternoon. Add just a touch of feminine elegance with my fashion fingerless driving gloves for a unique twist to an older trend.

Enjoy this spring in Canada.... recycling has become increasingly popular, and this is no more evident than in fashion!Share/Bookmark

Spring in Canada... fresh flowers

No one who saw The Devil Wears Prada will ever forget the infamous line from Miranda Priestley (played beautifully by the incomparable Meryl Streep)... "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking..."

Well, what Miranda fails to realize is that florals - the ultimate in femininity - are here to stay. Join in and celebrate spring in Canada this season with a floral print, flowy dress, and a pair of my short every day glace gloves.

Fresh florals are not just limited to dresses either. A printed scarf can easily be toned complemented with a delicate pair of my pearl shorty gloves to gain elegance from all of your chosen accessories.

Even Kendall Jenner joined the ongoing trend of florals on the runways of Paris, matching her muted floral tones to my warm silk perforated gloves, which already have an elegant floral print of their very own!

Celebrate spring in Canada with big, bold, and unabashedly sophisticated floral prints and Ines Gloves...Share/Bookmark
