Top Canadian resorts with a touch of Ines!

Kicking Horse: Golden, British Columbia

Kicking Horse is one of Canada's newest winter getaways, located in the heart of Golden, British Columbia. Surrounded by 6 national parks, Kicking Horse is situated within the Purcell Range of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and boats some of the tallest vertical peaks in the Rockies. Each year, Kicking Horse receives approximately 23 feet of light, dry, powdery snow, but offers many other winter pastimes, including ice skating, snowshoeing, tubing, and cross-country skiing.

And when the call of retail reaches your ears, feel free to don your cashmere-lined glace gloves to keep your hands looking beautiful and staying warm while you browse!Share/Bookmark

Le Massif Resort: Quebec, Canada

Le Massif Resort quietly rises above the historic St Lawrence River to create a picturesque, majestic getaway for those seeking winter adventure. With steep slopes, breathtaking scenery, and delicious haute-cuisine, Le Massif provides a wonderful experience for every sense!

Ready to hit the slopes? Not without your alpaca-lined peccary leather gloves! Alpaca wool is perhaps the warmest fibre that exists, and will provide insulation with mobility so that you can enjoy your sunny day of skiing without the hassle of cold, stiff fingers.

When the day of skiing has finished and you are ready to visit the area surrounding Le Massif, you have every reason to switch from warmth to pure fashion with fingerless driving elk leather gloves for men. Unique leather, with strong fingertips revealed!Share/Bookmark

When the temperatures in Canada drop below 0 degrees Celsius, our fashion options are somewhat limited. However, with the help of Ines Gloves, we can remain warm and elegant all winter long!

A warm wool cape, a luxurious scarf, and my sensual almost elbow high gloves make for a very warm combination with the lightly falling snow.

UGGs and Ines leather gloves

UGGs... these shapeless, unisex boots made from sheepskin and originally used in Australian surf culture exploded on the fashion scene in Canada in 2004. Since then, when Toronto turns white with snow, the UGGs come out to play... to be used for snow and ice?!

Now, all of a sudden, we're seeing UGGs worn with leggings, mini skirts, jeans... you name it, people wear it. One thing is for certain, however... they look beautiful with a pair of my short every day glace gloves!

Are UGGs here to stay? I believe they are, but please use caution when wearing them, as they don't seem to have the best traction on the ice. Share/Bookmark

Canadian women in hats - can a 2004 trend still hold true?

2004 was a bit of a disaster when it came to fashion... this year introduced some of the strangest trends, but now all of a sudden, 2014 is showing new takes on these weird and wonderful ideas!

The first questionable trend is the woman's hat... can this trend survive 2014? The easy answer is yes! Hats were worn centuries ago, and have exploded yet again onto the fashion scene.

The streets of Toronto, Ontario, Canada can be treacherous in winter, and a hat can be both practical and fashionable. I myself have ventured outside with one of my favourite vintage hats and a pair of my short every day glace gloves.

So, if you're wondering whether hats are here to stay, the resounding response is... yes, they are! Share/Bookmark
