Celebrating stylish Canadians in leather: Linda Evangelista

Linda Evangelista is best known as one of Canada's most influential and successful supermodels of all time. Born in 1965 and featured on more than 700 magazine covers, Linda has been most associated with gracing the covers of Vogue Italia on many occasions and acting as the subject of photographer Steven Meisel.

In a photograph taken several years ago, Linda Evangelista demonstrates the timeless elegance of an Ines Glove. My sensual almost elbow high gloves are the perfect accessory for cropped sleeves, and add elegance to any ensemble, whether casual or dress.

In 1998, Linda chose to throw down her sensual indulging up-shoulder gloves and retired from an illustrious modelling career. It would take only 2 years for Evangelista to return to the flash bulbs, fashion, and photographs, appearing on a 2001 issue of Vogue.
