Ines loves Chanel

The fall-winter look of 2011-2012 are the blacks, the classic Chanel jacket shape, longer lengths dresses, skirts and boots and long fingerless gloves.
Combined with pearls, only pearls….everywhere. We love it.

Ines Gloves and LeonLeon Atelier love Fairy tales

Ines is working with LeonLeon Atelier, couture designer of high end accessories, cocktail and evening and bridal wear.
We both love elegance…
Leon Klaassen Bos starting designing for clients at the age of 11, worked his way through to today.
Trained by couture tailors, he gathered his knowledge and experience by working for private clients and high end designers like Frank Govers in Amsterdam and was head designer for Katoucha in Paris.
At the house of Yves Saint Laurent he worked as an assistant. Today, Leon applies his extensive experience to his own label, Atelier LeonLeon, formerly known as LeonAmsterdam.
His mission is to make women beautiful and feminine in a look that enhances the female curves.

Elsien Gringhuis is a Dutch designer and won already several awards.
Elsien create powerful fashion with a strong graphic elements. Patterns consist of as little as possible, preferably, one or two parts.
The result is portable and elegant with straight lines and bright color.

Welcome back, Canada!

Greetings to my fellow leather enthusiasts, both Canadian and abroad!

As you may have guessed, I have had to take a brief hiatus from my Friends of Elegance Canada blog, but I'm back with many new and exciting leather fashions to share! Since you last heard from me, I have waved goodbye to the salt water breezes of the East Coast, travelling westward to beautiful Alliston, Ontario, Canada...

... birthplace of Frederick Banting (discoverer of insulin) and a potential hotspot of new leather finds.
