I just happened to be watching television early this morning, and noticed that Chanel is showing some very familiar gloves in their advertisement for Chanel Chance, a new eau fraiche for women!

Ines & Much Music Video Awards 2013
Father's Day 2013 was shared with a major celebration in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada... the Much Music Video Awards!
For those of you who may not be familiar with Canadian programming, Much Music is a Toronto-based television station that specializes in music-related programs and youth culture. Each year, the Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs) are held in downtown Toronto as a massive street party, a showcase of both Canadian and international talent. This year, however, leather pieces were out in full force, worn by some of our favorite artists...
Shawn Desman, a Toronto-based R&B pop singer, pleases his fans on the MMVA red carpet in a leather-fabric blended suit jacket and black leather pants. Guys, you don't have to be a pop singer to rock those leather pants!!
Karl Wolf, a Lebanese-Canadian musician from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is certainly enthusiastic about being on the red carpet in a rocker-chic leather jacket!
Recently-married Canadian rocker couple Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger (lead vocalist of Nickelback) are often seen wearing leather. The MMVAs were no exception! Though Avril was leather-free when making her entrance...
she rocked it out on stage with some edgy leather boots and a black leather jacket!
Perhaps the most unique leather fashion of the evening was singer Demi Lovato, who wore a fabulous black leather jacket! The sleeves were, in fact, bands of black leather along the upper arm and ending in a full sleeve on her forearm. Very unique... like the fashions of Ines.
Leather is everywhere, even in the summer. "I do"... wedding glove etiquette with Ines - part 4
Gone are the days of rigid social rules surrounding the wearing of gloves with a wedding dress. Nowadays, women are choosing gloves in a variety of styles and colors to accentuate their own personal style.
Gloves during your wedding reception
During the reception, it is prudent to wear your wedding gloves when greeting guests in the receiving line and during special dances with the groom or your parents. Gloves are customarily removed when eating and drinking, or before cutting the wedding cake.
Now that the more formal portions of the wedding ceremony and reception are finished, why not gracefully remove your gloves and have fun!

Exchanging your wedding rings
This could potentially be the most nerve-wracking part of the entire wedding ceremony if you are not familiar with removing your gloves! Before exchanging rings with your soon-to-be husband, your wedding gloves are elegantly removed and passed along to your maid-of-honor with your bouquet. Try practicing glove removal several times to ensure a smoothness and grace, as you will be removing your gloves in front of family and friends.
If you choose to remove your gloves prior to the ring exchange, leave your gloves off until the ceremony has finished. However, don't forget to put them back on in time for photographs!

Glove length
The length of your wedding gloves can vary from a short pair of glace gloves (ending at the wrist) to a long pair of up-shoulder gloves (ending at or just beyond your shoulder). The length of the gloves you choose should complement the sleeve length of your wedding dress. For a sleeveless dress, you have the luxury of selecting a glove of any length. In general, however, glove etiquette dictates the shorter the sleeve, the longer the glove.
Elbow gloves are typically worn with dresses having cap or elbow-length sleeves. Shorter gloves are chosen for dresses having longer or fitted sleeves.
